Fortnite Founder’s Packs were introduced back in 2017 to let players access the season early and access exclusive in-game events. Players got a 4-day head start if they pre-ordered a Founder’s packs along with the exclusive Storm Master Weapon Pack.

On June 29, 2020, Epic Games discontinued these packs. Owners of Founder’s Packs had their packs automatically updated for free to the following level. Owners of Ultimate Editions received 8,000 V-Bucks as compensation.

Legacy Founder’s Packs
Before and immediately after Fortnite’s official Early Access launch on July 25, 2017, these Founder’s Packs were accessible. On March 29, 2018, Epic Games deleted these packs from both in-game and online marketplaces due to abuses of the friend codes they created.
Except for the Ultimate Edition Founders Pack, Epic Games has indicated that these packs will only be accessible for a brief period beginning on July 17, 2018. In a blog post titled “Save the World: State of Development” which Epic Games released on October 22, 2018, they announced that these packs would once again be accessible for a brief time during a 50% off sale. All founders’ packs were returned on October 23, 2018, and they were available for purchase until November 6, 2018.
