Even though there has been no official confirmation or denial, the chances of seeing any old faces from the previous movies in the upcoming film are pretty low. Although it would be great to see Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, or Jeff Goldblum reprise their role, there is no certainty at all.

As for the lead stars of Rebirth, the film will be held by Marvel star Scarlett Johansson, who will star as Zora Bennett. Joining Johnasson in prominent roles will be Oscar-winning actor and future Marvel star Mahershala Ali as Zora’s trusted team leader Duncan Kincaid, Bridgerton famed Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist, Homeland’s Rupert Friend as a Big Pharma representative named Martin Krebs, and The Lincoln Lawyer‘s Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked civilian family.

Joining them in other supporting roles will be Luna Blaise, Audrina Miranda, and The Summer I Turned Pretty’s David Iacono as members of the Delgado family. Following the Thailand shoot, the production later moved to the island nation of Malta, during the months of July and September (via Variety).

Finally, the three-month-long shooting schedule ended in September and producer Frank Marshall celebrated its completion by tweeting a photo of a cap with ‘Jurassic World’ written on it in a never-seen-before in the franchise font. Also having tagged Margaritaville, there is a possibility Jimmy Buffett might show up again after a brief cameo in 2015’s Jurassic World.
